Overview:

Healthcare professionals have huge potential to further benefit patient care using digital technology and may know the problems that need fixing. Code Med was founded by a group of clinicians on a mission to empower healthcare professionals with digital skills. Their courses teach healthcare professionals across the UK how to code, with a focus on using real clinical examples to explain programming concepts. Not only does this equip them with the skills to address everyday service issues using digital innovation, but also it offers an opportunity for individuals to diversify their clinical career in ways they never thought they could. This interactive workshop offers an introduction to programming clinically orientated computer apps using Java. No prior programming experience is required.
